Dear Amelia, thank you for your message. I will help you to find your autobiography when we get back to school. I am glad that you had a nice holiday. Mrs D.

Dear Mahrooshay, sorry I wasn't in today. Just a quick question for you. When you checked the maths and science websites for me on Thursday, did they actually come up as Pontyclun Forums or as something else? Are you able to get onto the other Forums? Let me know, thanks, Mrs D.

I have always loved reading. My mother enjoys telling the story of how, on holiday in Italy when I was about 10, I was stuck in a broken-down lift for an hour without even noticing! When the manager finally opened the door I was found sitting happily in the corner of the lift with my nose stuck firmly in a book (not literally but figuratively - do you know the difference?).
I enjoy both factual and fictional books. Can you share your favourite factual or fictional book with the Blog? Why did you enjoy reading that particular book? Could you give our 'Bloggers' a short 'precis' (a simple storyline/fact file) of your favourite book? Remember, I am looking for interesting vocabulary, good spelling and accurate punctuation. Can you persuade other 'Bloggers' to read your favourite book?

Hello everyone, and welcome to our Language Blog. To get us started, I thought it would be nice to get to know each other, so, my first challenge is for you to write a short autobiography. Try to use good descriptions and interesting and varied vocabulary. Y5 and Y6 could also try to include paragraphs. Good luck with your first task.
Mrs Davies.
